This particular project was important for me as a veteran. Seeing first hand the sacrifice the men and women of the armed forces make, no corner would be cut. Artist Bruce Bleach gave us a blank canvas; the inside of the birds wing. We created a digital collage from images sourced from my personal collection and historical aspects to give the work a humble and powerful statement. The image was etched in bronze.
